★ WEBBY WINNER 2022
A platform doesn't launch with meaning. It earns it. We built the language before anyone knew what to say.
01 — ( CONTEXT )
In 2019 Apple TV+ launched with no catalogue, no audience, and no social presence. There was nothing to point at and nothing to inherit. The brief turned into a point of view: be a tastemaker. Curation, editorial, taste rendered as a feed.
“If a title is on their grid, it's worth my time.”
02 — ( ROLE )
Joined junior, promoted mid-tenure, and co-led the social account with Cam Tribe. Invented the carousel format, wrote the language system, and wrote every line of social copy. The playbook outlasted the team that made it.
03 — ( CONSTRAINT )
Confident, dry, generous — and durable. It had to scale across titles, formats, and team turnover without thinning out into corporate.
“IT HAD TO BE GOOD ENOUGH TO OUTLAST US. IT WAS.”
04 — ( THE BET )
A PLATFORM IDENTITY BUILT BEFORE THE PLATFORM EXISTED.
05 — ( SYSTEM )
06 — ( THE WORK )
Numbered, collector-style carousel covers that turned a feed into an issue. Won the Webby for Best Overall Social Presence, Media/Entertainment.
For Servant S2 — a pizza brand built from inside the show's world. 5 channels, 4 platforms, real deliveries.
An interactive quiz for experience.apple.com. My proudest piece of writing from this period.
One-line show angles. Knowing when to stop writing was the entire job.
07 — ( RECOGNITION )
08 — ( REFLECTION )
The idea isn't the line. The idea is the system the lines come from. Build that, and the work keeps writing itself after you leave the room.
